New Coronavirus Pneumonia (Corona ViruRBD Disease 2019, COVID-19), or "New Coronavirus Pneumonia", is a pneumonia caused by 2019-nCoV virus infection, with clinical types including asymptomatic, mild, common, severe and critical, COVID-19 has become a serious threat to human health worldwide. COVID-19 has posed a serious threat to human health worldwide. When a virus invades the body, it stimulates the production of neutralizing antibodies and binding antibodies that specifically prevent the pathogenic microorganism from entering the cells. Antibodies are soluble proteins secreted by adaptive immune response cells that recognize viral surface proteins and block their binding to cell surface specific receptors. Current methods of detection of RBD antibodies include EIA and immunochromatography.
This product uses immunochromatographic techniques to qualitatively detect the presence of neutralizing antibodies in human whole blood, serum and plasma samples using a double antigen sandwich method.
If RBD antibodies are present in the sample to be tested, the colloidal gold-labelled 2019-nCoV antigen binds to the 2019-nCoV antibody in the sample to form a reaction complex, which moves forward along the nitrocellulose membrane under chromatographic action and binds to the 2019-nCoV antigen pre-encapsulated in the detection zone (T) to form a "2019-nCoV-Ag-(2019-nCoV-Ab)- (colloidal gold- 2019-nCoV-Ag)" complex, resulting in a red line visible to the naked eye in the T region; In contrast, when a negative sample is tested, no red line is formed in the T region. Regardless of the presence of 2019-nCoV Ab in the sample to be tested, a red line is always formed in the quality control area (C).
